- Trump says whistleblower must be brought forward to testify against him
- The US president also insisted that the whistleblower gave false information against him
- Meanwhile, many of his followers on Twitter disagreed with him, claiming he also offered to give special counsel Robert Muller written statement
President Donald Trump of the United States of America has slammed the Democratic Party of the impeachment moves against him.
The president also lambasted the whistleblower who raised allegations against him that kick-started the impeachment move by the House democrats.
According to Trump on Twitter, it is necessary for the whistleblower to come out and testify against him. In reference to the whistleblower's offer to give written statements to House Republicans, the president said such a move is not accepted.
"The whistleblower gave false information & dealt with corrupt politician Schiff. He must be brought forward to testify. Written answers not acceptable! Where is the 2nd Whistleblower? He disappeared after I released the transcript. Does he even exist? Where is the informant? Con!," Trump wrote on Twitter.
Meanwhile, many of his followers on Twitter disagreed with him, claiming he also offered to give special counsel Robert Muller written statement.
Replying the president's tweet, one his followers wrote: "You were scared to meet with Mueller because he would have gotten all the lies verbally. Instead, you wrote down 35 answers. So it’s ok for you to do it but not anyone else.
