- Kaizer Chiefs striker Leonardo Castro has divulged details of the CBN combination
- The CBN trio is made up of Castro, Khama Billiat and Samir Nurkovic
- The Amakhosi currently lead the PSL log and their strike force has become the most feared in the league
The turnaround from last season to this one has been night-and-day for Kaizer Chiefs.
The Soweto Giants languished outside of the top eight and without silverware for the 2018/ 2019 campaign.
This season, they currently lead the Premier Soccer League log and their potent attack is receiving most of the plaudits.
Colombian Leonardo Castro has formed a deadly partnership with fellow attackers Khama Billiat and Samir Nurkovic.
The trio has become known as the CBN combination and they've wreaked havoc on the likes on Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates in recent weeks.
KickOFF.com reported that Castro is loving life with his new strike partners, even though some fine tuning is still required.
Castro said, “With Khama, I know him for long; we know each other, and we can close our eyes and play together, so it’s easy to be playing with these two guys because they know to play.”
The Colombian added that he and Nurkovic are still adjusting to each other's style of play, but are making good progress in training.
Briefly.co.za predicts that the forwards will need to get through a lot of work within the next few days as they face Chippa United midweek and Orlando Pirates over the weekend.
