1. Rasta is back

The "funeral artist" participated in the festivities and even sat down to paint a portrait of Siya Kolisi. Of course reactions were mixed, as with every Rasta art piece.

2. It's a party

Music boomed from speakers as South Africans danced and sang while waiting for the team to arrive.

3. The Sports Minister celebrates

Minister of Sports, Nathi Mthethwa, took to social media to share pictures of their jubilant arrival.

4. Unity and celebration

A true rainbow nation was displayed at OR Tambo and had nothing to do with the beautiful rainbow colours of our flag being waved around. All skin colours, ages and genders were joined by happiness and pride in the national team.
