Makazole Mapimpi, Cheslin Kolbe, Duane Vermeulen and Frans Steyn were interviewed by the press after the Springboks returned home from Japan.

Mapimpi, one of the #RWC2019 final try-scorers, opened up about the excitement of scoring and the Boks walking away with the Webb Ellis Cup.

During the interview, Mapimpi dropped the f-bomb, leaving the media and fellow Bok players in stitches.

A clip of the blooper was shared on Twitter and it quickly went viral.

Social media users were in stitches over Mapimpi's live TV blooper and some even dubbed him a legend.

Twitter user, @Ningi_Nice, commented:

"Lol, he is definitely allowed. First to score a try in a World Cup final, first to say F**k on national TV. My man."

Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za previously reported a woman has shared that Springbok player Mapimpi tried to inbox her years before his fame.

In the screenshot shared, she alleges that she ignored the winger and only responded after seeing him at the Rugby World Cup. Social media users couldn't help but laugh at her ridiculous story.
