A young entrepreneur's dream came true when he met the President of South Africa. Skinny Sbu, aka Sock Millionaire, had the opportunity to give President Cyril Ramaphosa his product.
An entrepreneur, Skinny Sbu, posted a video on Twitter showing him meeting President Cyril Ramaphosa.
The head of state was gifted a pair of Skinny Sbu socks by the excited businessman.
The post was captioned:
"I’m proud to announce that President @CyrilRamaphosa is now the owner of Africa’s number one sock brand @skinnysbusocks."
The video gathered over 14 500 views in just a couple of hours. Briefly.co.za took a look at some of the reactions the footage gathered from South Africans.
Tseki Maseko, who goes by the Twitter handle @TT_Spanky, commented:
"Yooooo Boi! Your hustle is woke! If the President's crew can't stop you then nothing will. Spirit baade."
Themba Hlutwa, @THlutwa, added:
"Well done Sbu, that's the way to go. This is how Desré Buirski did it back in 1994 when she presented President Mandela his first Madiba Shirt."
Another tweep, @iamkay_n, wrote:
"I watched this video for like five times because I can't believe how far you've come. I love your hustling spirit and God bless you."
