- A woman recently learnt that bullying others is not the Mzansi way
- She attempted to shame the couple who are trending over their recent KFC proposal
- Social media users were quick to call out her mean behaviour
A woman was taught a lesson after she tried to shame a man for proposing to his girlfriend at KFC. The lady called the man broke and mocked him, but Mzansi social media users would have none of it. They quickly came to the stranger's defence, forcing the woman to apologise.
Twitter user butterfly_Anele was forced to apologise after mocking a man who proposed to his girlfriend at KFC. She called out the venue for the proposal and said that he was broke. Many found these comments offensive and cruel and proceeded to call the woman out.
The lady went on to say that the comments against her were cruel and were giving her anxiety. But Mzansi social media users explained that it was her initial comment which was the most cruel. The repentant woman then apologised for having mocked the special occasion before promptly deleting her offensive tweet.
Briefly.co.za had previously reported that a man won Mzansi over with his incredibly unique proposal. A video surfaced on social media showing an unidentified man popping the question - in KFC. The footage showed the man getting down on one knee as his girlfriend got emotional. By the looks of it, she said yes and the happy man slipped the ring onto his fiancée's finger. KFC South Africa took to its official Twitter page to try and track down the happy couple by sharing the video.
