Trump "would love to" accept Putin's invitation to military parade

On Friday, Donald Trump, revealed that Vladimir Putin had invited him to attend a Russian military parade in May next year.

Briefly.co.za learned that this would mean travelling to Russia in the middle of election season in America and given the scandals surrounding alleged Russian collusion in the last elections some American's are sceptical.

Trump said that he would consider it and be happy to accept saying that:

“It’s a very big deal, celebrating the end of the war, etc, etc. It’s a very big deal, so I appreciate the invitation. It is right in the middle of political season, so I’ll see if I can do it. But I would love to go if I could.”

Previous presidents who accepted invitations to attend the same parade held in the past includes Bill Clinton and George W. Bush who attended in 1995 and 205 respectively. Barrack Obama declined the invitation in 2015 following the Russian annexation of Crimea in 2014 according to huffingtonpost.co.uk.
