- uBaba has been instructed by doctors to rest and take things easy
With all the attention that former South African president, Jacob Zuma, is constantly getting, it's easy to forget that he is only human, and an older one at that.
The 77-year-old was hospitalised earlier this week and had to spend a week before he was discharged on Thursday, 7 November.
As reported on by Briefly.co.za, until recently it was a mystery exactly what was wrong with Zuma.
His son, Edward, has since spoken to the press and stated that his father is overworked.
"He is out of hospital, but has been instructed to rest because doctors say he is overworking himself. He doesn't get enough rest and for his age that is not allowed."
However, News24, reports that it is still not clear just what was the reason for Zuma's hospitalisation in the first place.
He has since taken to social media to thank everyone who thought of him and wished him well during his time in hospital.
