The Kaizer Chiefs downed their rivals the Orlando Pirates through a combination of strategy, teamwork and overall brilliance.

The 3-2 victory gives the Chiefs a healthy lead over the competition with ten points between themselves and second place of the Absa Premiership table.

Here is a breakdown of how the Chiefs player played on Saturday from 1 to 10:

Reeve Frosler - (7) His recent injury caught up with him but before that, he made some excellent tackles.

Mulomowandau Mathoho -(4) A bit of a letdown and earned a red card for getting involved in something that he had nothing to do with.

Daniel Cardoso - (7) He made a huge leap from National First Division with Ajax Cape Town. He did well albeit a bit shaky at times.

Willard Katsande - (6) Luckily he escaped being sent off for a dangerous tackle and used his good luck to play his heart out.

George Maluleke - (5) Battled to get into the game and was replaced by Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya.

Lebogang Manyama - (6) Created opportunities for his teammates and kept up an effective tempo.

Khama Billiat - (4) The Zimbabwean national is not proving his worth a the moment with poor decisions and lacklustre performance.

Samir Nurkovic - (6) A good solid performance always ready to assist but unluckily did not get to score.

Dumisani Zuma - (5) His performance from last week was not repeated and was not really in the game.
