SA artist shows off wax sculpture of Siya Kolisi: "Pure talent"

Briefly.co.za previously reported on a local artist, Lungelo Gumede, who creates intricate wax sculptures of iconic people.

Now, Gumede has shown off his newest piece of art - a wax sculpture of Siya Kolisi. Taking to his official Twitter account, Gumede posted a couple of snaps of the Springboks captain sculpture.

The post largely divided social media users. Some thought it might be the work of Rasta while others applauded Gumede's wax sculpture.

Mondli Khobeni commented:

"Great attempt. The face is not Siya but he did a good job in other details though God bless him."
