Mzansi Kwaito artist, Mampintsha Shimora, has finally addressed the rumour mill regarding his sudden massive weight-loss.

Briefly.co.za learnt that the celebrity was the talk of the town last week after a video of him dancing went viral on social media.

In the video, Mampintsha was entertaining with his dance moves, but it was his gaunt look that stole the show and got social media users buzzing. Many tweeps suggested that only an illness could make someone lose such massive weight.

Mampintsha took to social media to address the hurtful rumour about his mysterious weight-loss. In the video, Mampintsha said he doesn’t think much about other people’s opinions and those people are probably going through a dark phase themselves.

Mampintsha said he was also baffled about the rumours because when he was overweight, people were bashing him and now that he lost weight, he is still being ridiculed.

Take a look at the video below:

According to ZAlebs, Mampintsha told Ilnaga Langesonto that he is currently a size 32, which has been his dream size for a while.

The Kwaito muso confessed that he has taken the healthy route and although he has bought gym equipment, he hasn’t started working out yet.

However, Mampintsha withheld other reasons that had led to his massive weight-loss.
