- The Chiefs attacker has been in sparkling form for his club, scoring three goals and creating two assists this season
Bafana Bafana face two crucial fixtures this week as they prepare for African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Ghana and Sudan.
With the injured Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Themba Zwane out of the reckoning, coach Molefi Ntseki has placed his faith in a Kaizer Chiefs attacking ace.
Lebogang Manyama has earned a recall to the Bafana squad following his tremendous form for the Amakhosi this season.
Briefly.co.za gathered that the attacker has racked up three goals and two assists this season in the Premier Soccer League.
KickOFF.com reported that Manyama's last match for the national team took place against Senegal two years ago.
At that stage, Manyama was playing his club football in Turkey, but his return to South Africa has coincided with a rich vein of form.
Bafana held a training session on Monday ahead of their trip to Ghana as they face the Black Stars on Thursday.
South Africa will then host Uganda for the other AFCON qualifier on Sunday at the Orlando Stadium.
