The 7-year-old golfing sensation was crowned as the US Kids Golf Champion as reported by Briefly.co.za a few months ago.
Sim has capped off a remarkable year with another glorious achievement as he earned the Minister's Excellence Award for 2019.
The accolade was handed to the young golfer at the 2019 SA Sport Awards and the news spread like wildfire via social media.
Sim shared the proud moment via social media and South Africans showed their support and admiration for the talented sportsman.
