'Online shopping': Thug filmed stealing clothes from washing line

- A thief was caught red-handed by CCTV cameras recently

- Instead of going into the house to steal valuables, the thug did some 'online shopping'

- The man was filmed stealing a family's laundry from the washing line

South Africans were shocked by a video that was posted on South Africa Live's Facebook page on Tuesday.

The footage, which was captioned "Online shopping", showed a thief picking clothing items off of someone's washing line before casually walking away.

The video gathered over 87k views in just three hours and Mzansi had a lot to say about the thief stealing freshly washed clothes.

Lenora Pretorius commented:

"Hope his size is on hand, can you imagine the disappointment."

Lisa Bekker added:

"Pick and choose nogal."

Johan Samuels joked:

"Can we have assistance in aisle two, please."

Jen Hudson wrote:

"I hope he knocked on the owner's door and demanded ironing of selected items."

While the above thief stole clothes, another thug ruined a man's proposal after breaking into his car and stealing the engagement ring.
