Tweeps are dragging Siya Kolisi's recent 'scruffy' look: Not impressed

Photographs of Springbok captain, Siya Kolisi, and his stunning wife, Rachel, at an event have gone viral.

According to ZAlebs, the couple were pictured cosying up at the South African Sports Awards, which took place on Sunday evening in Durban.

Instead of tweeps showing their appreciation for the charming couple, they mocked Siya for his scruffy, unshaven face and untidy hair.

However, it wasn’t the rugby captain’s fault. He had been on a non-stop national tour with the Champions trophy since the Springboks returned home from the Rugby World Cup in Japan a week ago.

Rachel on the other hand, didn’t seem to mind his look. She’s glowing in her happiness.

Meanwhile, yesterday Briefly.co.za reported that the Springboks' World Cup Trophy Tour commenced on Thursday.

The tour kicked off in Johannesburg as the players and President Cyril Ramaphosa met at Helpmekaar College for a special address.

One of the learners at the school, Lebo Mogoma, got the chance to meet his hero, Springbok captain Siya Kolisi, and the World Cup winner signed one of Lebo's rugby boots.
