A woman has left social media users divided after she made a bold statement. She said that the reason marriages are failing more lately, is because women are now getting employed and have their own money. This makes them lose respect for their husbands. A video of her being interviewed has gone viral on social media.

Twitter user Khethilekhethile shared the video and it has since been shared by many others on the social media platform. Her comments suggest that women are better off unemployed because after getting jobs they get an attitude and no longer respect the head of the household. Many social media users, particularly women, were not impressed with their comments. Some men, however, agreed with her.
