Zandi Khumalo, Kelly Khumalo’s sister, has opened up about harsh allegations tying her and her family to soccer star Senzo Meyiwa’s death.

Senzo was shot and killed back in 2014 in Vosloorus, and Kelly and Zandi were present at the time. The murderer has yet to be named and people are refusing to stop calling for justice to be served.

Briefly.co.za knows how much Zandile, Kelly and their family have been through since Senzo’s passing. The accusations and soul-destroying hate have broken them.

At the time of Senzo’s death, there were allegedly seven people in the home where an apparent robbery took place which led to Senzo being shot – who exactly it was that shot Senzo, no one knows, but Kelly and the Khumalo family have been blamed ever since.

Other reports claim that the robbery was simply a cover-up for the fact that Senzo got shot whilst trying to break up a fight that was happening between Zandi and her now ex-boyfriend, Longwe Twala – there are many multiple assumed scenarios.

Zandi came forward on Tuesday to make it clear that she and her family had nothing to do with Senzo’s death.

In two lengthy social media posts, Zandi told her side of the story, clarifying, once again, that there was no fight between her and Longwe at the time of Senzo’s death and that her family played no part inthe tragedy.

The post was not made out of guilt, but out of anger and hurt. Zandi and her family have been through enough and she says that it needs to stop!
