- The six core cast members of the popular 90s series Friends are in talks to reunite
- They are discussing a possible reunion project for HBO Max
- It is said the project will be an unscripted reunion special
The Hollywood Reporter reported that Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer are all on board for the reunion.
A source said, “The cast of Friends have discussed bringing the show back in some capacity. But in what form is still very much up for discussion."
The show is celebrating it's 25th anniversary this year and the cast has all remained in touch over the years.
Briefly.co.za reported on Courteney Cox and Matthew Perry meeting for lunch last week.
Fellow former cast member and now movie star, Jennifer Aniston, was peeved she wasn't invited.
In an appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show, she bewilderingly asked, "Why weren't (the rest of the cast) invited?"
The source said all parties involved want to do the justice to the original series and its fans.
They added, "The talks are still early stages, but everyone is on board in some capacity if it makes sense."
