Captain Scully Levin's name has been synonymous with excellence within the local aviation industry.
Since 1964, Levin has racked up nearly 30 000 hours of flying time on over 180 different aircraft types as a qualified pilot.
The veteran pilot dedicated more than 38 years of service to SAA on local and international routes.

Over the years, Levin has been recognised for his continuous excellence as a pilot, consultant and trainer.
In 2012, he earned the prestigious honour of The Order of the Baobab in Bronze for his tremendous contribution to the aviation industry.
Briefly.co.za also learnt that he remains the one and only recipient of the SA Flyer’s Lifetime Aviation Achievement Award, after winning it a decade ago.

Levin's passion for flight has now earned him one more prestigious prize as the Honourable Company of Air Pilots awarded him with a Master Air Pilot Certificate.
The honour cements Levin's reputation of consistently delivering years of excellence.
