- Kelly Osbourne says her family is very close to accepting an offer to return to reality television
- The family's reality show, The Osbournes, was on air from 2002 to 2005
- Osbourne was only 15 when the first appeared on the show
"The first season was such a magical time in my family's life because we had no idea what we were doing," the now 35-year-old Osbourne told PeopleTV on Thursday.
The show followed the Osbourne family around. It starred dad Ozzy, mom Sharon, brother Jack and Kelly.
As Ozzy is a famous rock star, the family lived quite an unorthodox life that kept viewers glued to their screens.
Osbourne said the family had no idea the show would be so successful and open the door to a host of other reality show concepts in the process.
Osbourne said the family constantly receives offers to film the show again.
“I’m not joking, every single year about every three months or so someone else gives us another offer and we keep saying no,” she said.
She said the family might accept a current offer on the table.
"Right now there’s another offer on the table and I think this is the closest we’ve ever come to accepting one,” she shared. “But whether that will happen or not, I don’t know.”
She said the family has to consider that they are all in different places in their lives right now.
Her brother Jack, for example, has three children who might not be happy about television exposure.
Lasy year, Osbourne's mother, Sharon Osbourne, explained to Howard Stern that most of the networks came with less than desirable money offers.
She told Stern, “They can’t afford us. It’s like why would we want to do it for peanuts?”
