Julius Malema came out guns blazing following extreme backlash over his tweet about welcoming Burna Boy to Mzansi.

On Thursday, the EFF leader took to his Twitter account to show support for Burna Boy after other SA celebs refused to perform next to him if he did not apologise for past xenophobic remarks. reported earlier that Juju's post landed him in a whole lot of trouble and South Africans were fed up with the EFF's "agenda against unity".

However, Malema has taken to social media to defend his post and he dubbed the haters "bed wetting boys".

The EFF leader wrote:

"I won't be intimidated or blackmailed by bed wetting boys, welcome home @burnaboy. South Africa is a home for all Africans, kill me for defending an African brother, bloody cowards."

Malema's post once again sparked a massive reaction with South Africans standing by their beliefs that Burna Boy was in the wrong.

Twitter user, @Thabang_Freed, commented:

"So Sir you really don't care that he spread fake news and created even further division, threatened one of our own and said he'd never set foot here again? We love him but can he retract his statements first!"

Another tweep, @AdvMagadze, added:

"You are turning against one of your own in favour of a Nigerian. Your new Name: Julius Emeka Okwekwe Malema."
