- After the chilly reception that the first episode of The Lebo Mathosa received from Mzansi, it looked like the entire series was going to be a flop
- However, the second episode may just have turned things around
- People are now willing to give the show a second chance and see where the biopic is heading.
The Lebo Mathosa biopic premiered not so long ago and it did not go down as well as expected. Peeps were not happy with the cast, storyline, production or even the premiere date.
Briefly.co.za reported that Mzansi just was not feeling it, and they weren't holding back on the criticism.
But it looks like the second episode changed a lot of minds and the country is willing to stick around and see where things are going.
People aren't as unhappy with the biopic as they were at first:
Meanwhile, Mzansi actress KB Motsilanyane opened up to a media publication regarding the backlash she's received since being cast. KB said she is unfazed by the criticism and is more focused on telling Lebo Mathosa's story than trying to "be" her. She promised to play the role with "utmost respect".
