Luyolo Yiba deservingly and proudly took the Idols SA title and his hometown of King William’s Town in the Easter Cape stopped in his glory.
Idols SA has been hella interesting this year. With all the drama and the insanely tough competition, Luyolo soldiered through and came out on top.
Briefly.co.za learnt that the people of King William’s Town are so proud of Luyolo that the entire town literally came to a standstill as a result of his win.
The people of King William’s Town gathered at a public viewing point in the cold to watch the final. The viewing was arranged by a local ward committee.
When Luyolo was announced as the official winner of Idols SA 2019, the entire King William’s Town lit up with pride.
Luyolo did not along walk away with the Idols SA title, he also walked away with R1.5 million, a Huawei Matebook X, a B525 router, a GT watch, 20GB of Telkom data, a swanky Ford Fiesta 1.0 Ecoboost, a R100 000 Truworths voucher, Yahama music instruments to the value of R80 00 and a life-changing record deal with Gallo.
