Sophie Ndaba-Lichaba and her husband, Max, have managed to withstand many challenges and remained by each other's sides through it all.

They're only celebrating their second anniversary, but they have faced many things in that time.

Sophie's weight loss had her fans worried and although she admitted she lost too much weight, she said she was happy. The actress has diabetes and knows she has to look after herself.

There were also the rumours that Sophie had died - not just once, but twice, as reported on by Briefly.co.za.

After everything, Sophie is glad she has Max in her life and penned down a few words to express how much she loves him and how grateful she truly is.

Part of Sophie's post read:

"Today we celebrate 2 years of our marriage. The devil tried everything!!! But mercy said No... Today I'm alive thanking you Lord that we've survived it all through your mercy. Continual Attacks on our marriage because the human devils just won't stop and don't give up. Thank you, Lord, for keeping loving blessing us in the midst of it all.
"My husband, I love you and Pray we continue to put God first in our marriage and remember we are nothing with God. I pray that we remember what love really is amazing & exciting and we both remember that ** I love you ** that we should never take it light ..it speaks leaps n bounds love you. You know after God you are my heartbeat, my love... My life ...the father of our children."
