On Tuesday, a beautiful lady, Jasmine Arnold, shared a story online that proves hard work pays off.
Arnold told the story of a young man whom she met a couple of times at the Giants shop in Epping, Cape Town.
She revealed the "friendly" young man gathers trolleys outside the shop but his life has changed thanks to hard work and dedication.
Arnold wrote on the #ImStaying Facebook page that the man told her he landed a permanent job and his story will go on to leave her speechless.
"He is... wait for it, a qualified mechanical engineer" - she wrote in her post.
Arnold said the young man would hustle throughout the day to make money and at night he would study.
His hard work led to a qualification in engineering and the man landed a job in Stikland.
The unidentified young engineer said he never wants to collect trolleys again, but added he will never forget that part of his life.
