Adam Lamberg is set to reprise his role as Lizzie McGuire's BFF, Gordo, in the upcoming reboot.
McGuire's bestie was a smart and sarcastic outcast, who only got along with his inner circle of friends.
The new series will be available on Disney's new streaming service, Disney+.
Briefly.co.za reported that Hillary Duff is also coming back as the lead character on 'Lizzie McGuire'.
The show will pick up with McGuire at 30 years old and engaged to an unknown character.

Duff is ecstatic to have Lamberg reprising his role.
She told reporters, “Gordo was an essential piece of the puzzle to what made the original Lizzie McGuire so authentic and beloved"
“I couldn’t imagine the series without him. I can’t wait for fans to see what he’s up to 15 years later and how he fits into Lizzie’s adult world.”
Fans are just as excited as Duff. They liked an Instagram post of her announcing his return more than a million times.
In the revival, McGuire lives in an eclectic Brooklyn apartment and is often visited by her 13-year-old alter ego in animated form.
