A tweep asked Mihlali Ndamase, local vlogger, social media and beauty influencer, how much she wants in 'girlfriend allowance' every month.
The beauty replied that she would settle for a 'mere, lousy R100 000', and social media users were a little shaken by the amount.
The reaction to Mihlali's generous expectation was quite mixed, Briefly.co.za noticed. While some peeps were 'stanning' the online celeb, others were (possibly sarcastically) saying she deserves so much more than just R100k a month.

TimesLIVE reported that Mihlali later tried to set things straight - she was only joking.
“I thought that GF allowance question was a joke, why are people catching feelings in my mentions?"
Take a look at some of the reactions. It seems that men in Mzansi need to up their game and open their wallets if they want to keep the ladies happy.
"You've just shattered the dreams of so many guys who wanted a chance to date you. On the bright side, you've eliminated everyone you don't want."
"And there is someone that can and will give you that, not these buffoons in the comments though."
"These RAND'arians needs to understand that there are girls out there who be getting a lousy 50k in dollars for an allowance ...wena u cheap cheap kahle kahle."
"Yoh! 100K so little?"
"Hau sis Mihlali, what will you buy? Fish & Chips? At least 350..."
"I Stan a queen who knows her worth & adds tax."
"This as a girlfriend allowance would be a bare minimum."
"Only 100k?? Come on, you can do better than that Mihlali."
"Incinci sisi, you deserve more."
"You are leadership."
