On Wednesday, Briefly.co.za reported a video surfaced online showing women dragging a body into an Old Mutual office over an alleged unpaid claim.
Shortly after the video went viral, another clip surfaced online showing a man carrying a hammer into Old Mutual to demand payment.
Although it was not revealed whether the video was filmed before or after the corpse incident, the post claimed Old Mutual had refused to help the man.
Twitter parody account Man's Not Barry Roux posted the video on the social media page.
The post was captioned:
"This one went to Old Mutual with a hammer and promised to moer everyone because they are refusing to help him."

South Africans were furious over the footage and demanded that Old Mutual explain itself.
Twitter user, @RaymondNkuna1, commented:
"They will end up paying out for claims they were really not supposed to be paying because of their arrogance of refusing to pay out genuine claims."
Another tweep, @Curtis75175046, added:
"Things are getting out of hand at Old Mutual."
