- Kaizer Chiefs has announced that Itumeleng Khune will be making a comeback ahead of the big Cup semifinal this weekend
- Kaeryn Baccus will also be returning after he was out with an ankle injury
- Players who were on international duty will also be making their return
Kaizer Chiefs supporters have a reason to celebrate after the club announced that Khune and Baccus were back to full fitness. This comes as great news for the squad ahead of the Telkom Knockout Cup on the weekend.
Itumeleng Khune has also returned to training. He has been recovering from a groin injury he picked up in September.
Kearyn Baccus is also making a return after an ankle injury. The midfield was injured last month.
Other players will be returning to the squad after playing in their national teams. Khama Billiat, Lazalous Kambole, Daniel Akpeyi, Mulomowandau Mathoho and Lebogang Manyama have returned from their Afcon duties.
The Telkom Knockout Cup semifinal against Maritzburg United will take place on Sunday. Kick off is at 3pm.
