Good Samaritan blesses woman begging for bread for her children

BI Phakathi has shared a heart-wrenching video of a homeless woman crying on a street corner. When he approached her, he learnt that she was in need of food for her children to eat. The Good Samaritan took the desperate mother to a shop where he bought groceries for her.

A deeply emotional video was shared by BI Phakathi recently showing the plight of a mother who could not provide for her children. Initially the woman did not want to speak and asked to be left alone. However, a persistent Phakathi kept asking her what was wrong. When she eventually opened up, he learnt her sad story. All she asked for was bread and porridge for her children. Social media users were touched by her story. Facebook user Aerron Eales said:

"This poor woman, why can't people see her pain and worry and be more kind, heartbreaking, thank you for showing her the kindness we all have and can pass on to others"

Lydia SlayJajja Nabatuusa said:

"It took her a while to trust you and if you watch to the end the way homeless people are discriminated that’s enough reason for them to not trust the society. Either way you wiped her tears away. May God bless you always. You will never lack"
