Trevor Gumbi took to social media on his birthday to ask for one simple thing from his followers and fans.
He wanted them to say nice things, but they just had to go and do the opposite.
Briefly.co.za noticed that various insults (perhaps meant as jokes) came hurling towards the actor and comedian.

Rather than feeling generous with happy birthday wishes, tweeps were showering Trevor with roasts.
Nothing was off-limits, from the man's weight to his unironed shirt - everything got an insult or two.
