After pastor Neyi Zimu was admitted to Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital, people have been talking about the family's finances.
Briefly.co.za reported earlier that Zimuo is currently undergoing chemotherapy for a rare skin disease known as mycosis. His wife, Nelisiwe Sibisi-Zimu, explains that the problem started two years back with a rash, escalating to the point where it is at today.
Many have speculated that perhaps the family is broke and cannot afford private treatment for Neyi, but the family have slammed such rumours.

TimesLIVE reported the family said the following:
"It is important for us as a nation to value and respect the expertise that our public health facilities offer. We will not leverage the potential of our own public health services if we attach shame and unfounded criticism to them."
Mzansi has been united in prayer for Neyi since news of his condition was made public, and a prayer of healing was also offered for him.
