Yet another light has been snuffed out in South Africa and citizens are frenzied over this attack.
This time the target was 19-year-old Precious Ramabulana, who had been studying Business Management at the Ramokhopha Campus of Capricorn TVET College in Polokwane.
An unknown assailant attacked, raped and murdered the young woman in her own dorm room, stabbing her a total of 52 times.
IOL reports that police confirmed an investigation is underway with one male suspect being hunted down.

Briefly.co.za reported that Uyinene Mrwetyana's death had seen countless citizens lamenting her death, sparking a movement against gender-based violence.
Precious' death has lit the same inferno in the heart of Mzansi, with tributes pouring in for the woman who died in what was meant to be the safety of her home.
The fact that Monday marks the start of 16 Days of Activism, a campaign against gender-based violence, makes the ordeal hit harder.
President Cyril Ramaphosa recently commented on the emergency plan which intends to provide some relief when it comes to crimes of this nature but for Precious, it is a case of too little, too late.
