Miss SA dragged for 'post office' meet-and-greet with her fans

- Social media users have shown they can be more sensitive than Drake sometimes

- Peeps were offended that Miss South Africa said she'd be meeting some fans at a location near a post office

- It seems the fact that a young woman was murdered at a post office means public figures must not be seen near such places any more

You can't keep everyone happy and celebs have to accept that there will always be peeps who judge and find fault - as Miss South Africa, Zozibini Tunzi, found out recently.

Zozi is leaving for Atlanta to take part in the Miss Universe competition and called on her fans to meet her at a specific location so she could say farewell.

Her mistake was to choose a place near a post office - some peeps were offended by this decision.

While most people thought there was nothing wrong with Zozi's announcement, others were upset and one person even went as far as calling Miss SA tone-deaf.

One tweep said:

"Your Miss SA is by far the most tone-deaf Miss SA we've ever had with regards to social issues in SA. First, she had SA men write love letters to women, now she wants to be near a post office knowing what happened a few months ago???"

The issue lies with the murder of student Uyinene Mrwetyana - whose killer received 3 life sentences.

She was tragically killed in a post office by an employee, and this is why some people felt 'triggered' by the location.

Zozi has much bigger things to keep her occupied with than peeps acting dramatic, but it just goes to show that it's impossible to keep everyone happy.

Briefly.co.za wishes Zozi all the best in the competition and wants her to bring back the crown just as badly as the rest of Mzansi.
