- Former Kaizer Chiefs player Tsepo Masilela has hailed Mamelodi Sundowns as the best side in the league
- Masilela recently signed for AmaZulu and he knows his team are in for a tough task as they prepare for the PSL champions
- Despite Chiefs leading the PSL log, Masilela feels that Sundowns' record over the last few years has been impeccable
Kaizer Chiefs may be leading the Premier Soccer League (PSL) log, but one of their former players still feels that Mamelodi Sundowns is the best team around.
Tsepo Masilela was a popular defender at the Amakhosi, but recently signed for AmaZulu.
Ahead of AmaZulu's visit to Sundowns, Masilela has heaped praise on the current PSL champions.
Masilela said, "So we know who we are up against, the best team in our league. They've been consistent with a good coach."
KickOFF.com reported that Masilela complimented the work done by Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane and his players, as the team has extended their domestic dominance to the rest of Africa.
The veteran defender added, "They've been doing it for years now, in Africa as well, and they are currently the defending champions."
Sundowns hammered Usuthu in their Telkom Knockout fixture, so Masilela expects another daunting encounter.
However, Briefly.co.za gathered that Masilela feels a positive result is achievable if his teammates apply the correct midset.
Masilela added, "Whether you play Sundowns or any team, the approach must be the same, you must go there with the right mindset, the mentality must be strong."
