It’s touching when a woman is able to share her innermost feelings about her body, especially after giving birth.
Linda Mtoba took the time to open up about something that most celebs would not have the heart to do. The actress and a new mom explained the changes a mom’s body endures during and after pregnancy.
Briefly.co.za learnt that she wanted to let other women out there know that it is not always possible for one’s body to bounce back into the pre-pregnancy look, but that’s okay because it’s that body that brought a new life into this world. She encouraged moms to take it easy on themselves as she learns to do the same.
She went on to say that often she is in awe at what the body is actually capable of and then she also has moments when she is sad due to the fact that she does not see her old self and the work that lies ahead in order to achieve the old her back. She is aware of stretch marks that were never there, cellulite in other parts of her body, the tightness no longer there.

Linda admits that she does not feel sexy or beautiful like she did before. Continuing on, Linda expressed that it is only fleeting moments and it all has to do with weight and she is allowed to cry and feel those emotions.
What Linda is going through, she stated that her husband has been extremely supportive throughout. She was standing in front of the mirror and her hubby enter the room and so causally said to her, “Hey sexy”. He kissed her belly and told Linda that her body carried the most special gift they have ever gotten. Linda absolutely loved it.
The actress reiterated that it’s all about learning to love herself. She said that she is learning to embrace and love herself. It might take a little longer to get dressed without shedding a tear or two in between, but at the end of the day it’s all growth!
