Goodbye 'Giyani': Mzansi fans greet the soapie with broken hearts

Giyani: Land of Blood was South Africa's very first Xitsonga soapie and it was a massive success.

In only 8 months on Mzansi screens, it has entertained the country so much that its end is a blow to many. There was a lot of unhappiness when the news was announced a week ago.

One fan tried to prevent the show from coming to an end with a petition but sadly, it did not help.

Now, social media streets were flooded with messages of sadness as peeps said goodbye to their favourite show.

Briefly.co.za learnt that there is a possibility that the SABC may make more episodes.

According to Sunday World, there are plans for the shooting of a second season. Fans have their fingers crossed very tightly.
