A South African company called Infobip has managed to take the stress out of renewing your car licence. The ordeal will now be as easy as sending a text and waiting for delivery.
Motorists now have the power to renew their car licences with the touch of a button thanks to Infobip.
Senior sales manager Andre Joubert revealed that it can now be done through WhatsApp, delivered to your doorstep by a courier.
Speaking to 702, Joubert detailed the process which seems miles easier than waiting in line:
"It is convenient and takes less than two minutes. All you need to do is enter your vehicle registration number, the number is then verified to see if you are the owner, you then take a snapshot of your drivers licence or your ID, you submit that to them and they will also ask for a proof of residence."
After this, a quote is generated and you simply pay a fee through your cellphone. A courier will then be dispatched and within five working days, your disk will be delivered to your door, Briefly.co.za gathered.
