Authorities have moved in on a suspect in connection with the death of Precious Ramabulana. Police arrested the alleged murderer just hours after President Cyril Ramaphosa called for the heat to be turned up.

According to eNCA, Limpopo police managed to arrest a suspect in connection with the gruesome murder.
Briefly.co.za previously noted that the 21-year-old student had been stabbed over 50 times after being raped in her dormitory room.
This had prompted Ramaphosa's orders to Police Minister Bheki Cele, demanding that more resources are made available to investigators.
More details are expected to follow later on Thursday, with the police set to hold a briefing on the new development.
