South African football fans were jealous that they did not get to tag along to Anfield but added the Springbok captain deserved yo be there.
Thokozani Shongwe, who goes by the Twitter handle @ThokozaniShon13, commented:
"Our inspirational captain Siya backing another great team - Liverpool. Hope the reds draw some inspiration from Siya. #Stronger together, as we say down in South Africa. But YNWA. Go Reds. Let’s win for our great coach in his 100th champs league match. Liverpool."
Sadly, Kolisi did not see his team win, with Liverpool and Napoli drawing 1-1.
