About 8 people suffered injuries that range between serious and critical during a gas explosion at a Rivonia shopping complex on Saturday, 30 November.
It is estimated that 9 building suffered damage during the explosion, Briefly.co.za gathered.
It is not clear yet what caused the explosion and investigations are underway, reported News24.

The fire that was caused by the explosion has since been put out.
The Sandton Times reported that the total damages are still not fully determined. It is alleged that firefighters took more than an hour to respond, but The South African reports that these allegations could not be confirmed.
Several patients had to be lifted away via a helicopter so they could receive medical care.
