Briefly.co.za previously reported Zamalek fans have turned on their team's coach, Milutin 'Micho' Sredojević after they lost against 'the worst team in the league'.
According to KingFut, a CAF Champions League tie against TP Mazembe was an important match for Micho.
Zamalek failed to perform against Mazembe, losing 3-0 in Lubumbashi on Saturday, KickOff reported.
KingFut has since reported that the club's president, Mortada Mansour, decided Micho's fate after in an emergency board.

The publication reported that Mansour said he was "very disappointed" after Zamalek lost against Enppo and Mazembe.
However, he added that there were mistakes made on both the staff and players' parts.
"Zamalek's board had a meeting and we made a unanimous decision regarding Micho’s future, but I will not announce it today" - he said.
Mansour said he is set to meet with Micho to discuss "personal issues" before announcing the decision.
The club's president concluded:
"What we've seen from the players recently does not represent Zamalek at all."
