Not all taxi drivers are bad and a recent video posted online proved it. The footage shows a taxi driver stopping to help direct traffic after the lights stopped working.

The video was posted on Facebook on 28 November by Cindy Khumalo, and was later shared several times on the #ImStaying page.

Khumalo captioned the video:

"He got off his taxi to assist with traffic."

South Africans were inspired by the taxi driver using his own time to help direct the traffic.

"Wow he is setting a brilliant example to all around him!"

Laetitia Visagie added:

"While looking out for prospective passengers."

Quinton Gerald Hlongwane wrote:

"Taxi drivers are quite good humans if you get to know them, the targets of the taxi owners make them become road animals."

"Now that’s what you call making a difference, well done!"
