- Mzansi actress, Khanyi Mbau, shared a sweet appreciation post to her daughter, Khanukani which was turned into something really ugly by social media trolls
- Men who were praising her daughter’s beauty then started sexualising her by sharing inappropriate comments
- But Khanyi’s female brigade quickly called out the trashy men and requested that Khanyi remove her post for her daughter’s safety
Sometimes social media users can be really ugly. When Mzansi actress, Khanyi Mbau, took to social media to applaud her daughter for her academic achievements, but social media twisted it into something unimaginable.
She posted a picture of her with her 13-year-old daughter, Khanukani and thanked her for being an incredible child and making her motherhood everything she dreamed it would be.
For those of you who don’t know, Khanyi is very private about her daughter’s life, but once in a while expresses her love and pride for her daughter on social media.
But the sweet and thoughtful appreciation post was met with beautiful messages from fans who commended her for doing a great job in raising her daughter.
But a handful of men who were praising Khanukani’s beauty, took it too far by sexualising her and made inappropriate comments, which was certainly not fit for a 13-year-old girl.
Some women, concerned about Khanyi’s daughter’s safety, requested that Khanyi take down the snap of her daughter – her school’s information was crystal clear in the photo.
Here are some of the comments:
Khanyi Mbau had not commented on the social media outburst as yet.
Just over a week ago, Briefly.co.za reported that Khanyi Mbau and Kelly Khumalo had each bagged reality TV shows for next year that will be aired on DStv.
The two women are known for their own kinds of controversy, and seeing what their lives is like will certainly be a treat for fans.
According to TimesLIVE, the shows were announced at the DStv Showcase in Johannesburg where guests got to preview the content planned for next year.
