- Justin Timberlake made headlines when he was caught holding hands with his co-star, Alisha Wainwright
- The singer and actor has since written an apology to his wife and his family
- Justin insists that nothing happened but admits he was in the wrong
Just over a week ago, tongues started wagging when Justin Timberlake was seen holding the hand of his co-star, Alisha Wainwright.
The two are working on a film, Palmer, and was hanging out one night, along with their other co-stars. It was also reported that Justin had ditched his wedding ring, but this was likely only nasty rumours.
E! News reported that a source close to Justin said there really was nothing going on between the two actors.
"They were out with all the cast, crew, makeup artists, and everyone was just hanging out in a social setting. They are just working together. No validity to any other rumour other than that they are filming together."
Since the incident was so widely reported on, Briefly.co.za noticed that Justin has taken to his Instagram to apologise for his behaviour.
Part of his post read:
"A few weeks ago I displayed a strong lapse in judgement - but let me be clear - nothing happened between me and my co-star. I drank way too much that night and I regret my behaviour. I should have known better.
"This is not the example I want to set for my son. I apologize to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be."
