Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula is someone who often polarises opinions, but is one person who generally gets a strong reaction via social media.

Many appreciate the minister’s hands on approach to politics and social media, but others are too keen to roast Mbaks.

His recent tweet opened himself up for a similar reaction as he claimed to be Mzansi’s number one crush.

The tweet included a photo of himself wearing some cool attire.

However, it seems not everyone was impressed by his latest stunt.

Briefly.co.za gathered that Mbaks’ latest show of confidence was misplaced.

Linda (@EvolSiLla) was left in disbelief:

“Who is using the Minister's Twitter account? Please stop, the man has work to do because it can't be that the Minister would parade himself on twitter as his own number 1 crush. What would we call that, if it is the man himself?”

KCK (@KCKHF) didn’t appreciate the new look:

“You look more like a pimp.”

Abuti Josef (@AbutiJosef) seemed to imply it was a case of idle hands:

“Is the minister already on holidays?”

The controversial tweet seemed to be par for the course as Briefly.co.za earlier reported on a similar post from Mbaks.

On that occasion, the minister could be seen wearing a similar outfit with another brazen declaration.
