Despite being in the hospital, Archbishop Desmond Tutu is still laughing and being his jovial self.

Tutu was admitted to a hospital in Cape Town earlier, Briefly.co.za reported. He was taken in for treatment of a stubborn infection, according to his wife, Leah, who released a statement about the matter.

The infection seems to be a recurring one, but the treatment should be taking care of it effectively.

The nation was assured that Tutu is doing well and his family is hoping that he will be going home soon.
