Local muso, Mlindo the Vocalist, got a real scare when he got into a car accident along with his manager, Nyiko Bilankulu.
The pair were travelling from a performance in Durban when the accident took place. It's not clear what the details surrounding the crash are.
Although the musician is now recovering in hospital, no serious injuries were sustained.
Mlindo shared the news on social media, also apologising for having been forced to cancel shows.
Briefly.co.za learnt that Nyiko said Mlindo will be discharged from hospital soon.
"We were together in the car but I wasn’t injured. Doctors just checked me and I was released on the same day. As for Mlindo, his fans should rest assured he will be on stage soon."
Mlindo asked his fans to keep him and Nyiko in their prayers.
"We’ve been hospitalised until further notice, which puts us in a predicament as we had to cancel some performances.
"To all my fans, I deeply apologise for the inconvenience. Please keep us in your prayers for a speedy recovery."
Of course, his fans and friends are more than willing to pray for a speedy recovery.
