- South Africans are getting fed-up with load-shedding and they're blaming the government
- A throwback video of Jacob Zuma was shared online as tweeps joked he should return
- The clip shows uBaba offering to substitute if he is needed
Last year, Briefly.co.za reported on a video of Jacob Zuma showing support for the West Coast Crew 10s with a hilarious video.
The former president was filmed telling the team that he was available if they needed a substitute player.
Now, as the country is getting more and more frustrated with Eskom, the video resurfaced online showing uBaba offering his service.
Twitter parody account Man's Not Barry Roux posted a snippet of the clip on the social media platform, writing:
"If you guys needs a substitute uBaba Jacob Zuma is back from Cuba and he’s now available. #Loadshedding #Eskom #Stage6 #stage6loadshedding #Eskom #EskomBlackouts."
Despite the rather dark situation in SA - pun intended - Mzansi saw the funny side of the video and they expressed their views online.
On Monday night, SA rapper AKA caused a major debate on social media when he decided to blame the booting of ex-president Jacob Zuma for load-shedding.
Either he’s tired of playing nice or load-shedding has gotten to him too.
