- Kaizer Chiefs star Itumeleng Khune shared a hilarious post via social media, which poked fun at Orlando Pirates defender Happy Jele
- Khune claimed that he, Jele, Springbok captain Siya Kolisi and Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi all boast identical hairstyles
- According to Khune, the hairstyle is the cause for their success, but South Africans weren't so sure
Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune seemed to be making the most of his downtime by spending time on social media.
Khune has endured a stop-start season due to injury, but Briefly.co.za reported on his recovery recently.
On Monday, the Chiefs shot-stopper took to Twitter to share an astute observation.
Khune pointed to the fact that Orlando Pirates defender Happy Jele, Springbok captain Siya Kolisi and Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi all boast identical hairstyles.
The success of Kolisi and Tunzi has been well documented in recent times.
Kolisi recently led the Springboks to World Cup glory, while Tunzi recently bagged the Miss Universe crown, as reported by Briefly.co.za.
However, social media users were bemused by the inclusion of Khune and Jele in the stellar lineup of South African heroes.
Vee (@_moghel) expressed her disbelief:
"Happy Jele? Ngyala, Pirates has been a disappointment for the longest time.. even Khune mkhipheni.. this is aXhosa thing."
Nyameko foley (@n_nyameko) requested clarification:
"World champ and miss universe and what did you and happy jele won? Oh sorry ITU I almost forgot you won the rights to host the FIFA world cup in 2010."
Obakeng Moffat (@obtwice61) wasn't feeling it either:
"Haai man. You can't put yourself and happy jele in the same lineup as these two stars. #TswaaDaar."
